Quickly popping in. I'm missing you all - can't get on here much at the moment, so I'm very out of touch. Hope all's okay BM3.
Very cold here as well. I'm at home, and have decided to keep the heating on - not like me at all. Might make a hot water bottle as well.

hello all.....
quick R update..he developed *ahem* very very very very very runny nappies at bedtime and this morning was the most obscene thing I ever did see (tmi sorry xxx) so it must have been the bots and as he only had a teeny amount rash and poo situation add up to allergy to me....
aaanyway...rang docs, they got a doctor to ring me as they didn't want my pooing child in their waiting room (will remember that one for future!!!) and he is prescribing something else. He checked medical records and R has never had penicillin (he's got bad skin but is healthy otherwise)so I said oh is it likely he is allergic then..well says doc we would keep an open mind!!!
(he won't be getting penicillin any time soon i can tell you...)
He was up at 4 slept from half 8 til 11 then mum came and got him..surprise afternoon off
Going to sit and do nuffink I think

was manky first thing but sun is shining here now

I got my washing out it's really lovely here so need to make the most of it.
Was eyeing up a lovely duvet cover in my favourite (as in cheap ) CS yesterday. So when DH went to get the lecky money from the bank I asked him to get it for me. £3 for a single, gawjus big red flower pattern, lovely for cutting into. When I get it on the line I'll take photos. I'm thinking totes and aprons.
Also had (well borrowed) an idea for making mugs into something different. Mozzers had some reduce yesterday, 6 for £1.48, but when we got them home we noticed a bad chip on one. DH took them back this morning. Turns out they were only 98p for the 6 (hadn't noticed the receipt) and they gave him the chipped set too!!!
They said they would only end up in the bin, so I've got 5 extra mugs to work with now
Looks like we need a new printer though, I think the heads are wearing. Can't complain as this one has printed thousands of leaflets and posters in the last 15 months.

Oooh, that fabric sounds fab BM, can't wait to see it.

Feeling really lethargic here and finding it hard to get myself going today. Think I need a walk to clearmy head...

Hellooo

Sun is out but I have just had to bring washing in as there was a hailstorm!

Listening to radio today, Tesco is banning people from carrying children on shoulders, there must have been an incident I expect. Listeners were calling in with horror stories about children getting their head hit with ceiling fans or actually falling and fracturing skulls etc

I have just thrown a very hot cup of coffee over myself and had to wash all the clothes I was wearing and parts of me are a bit red.

OH said "thank god it wasn't me" cos I had also spilled some on the couch
