i honestly keep forgetting what day it is...

its been such a mare of a couple of weeks... and this week is no different...

head is up my a*s* at the moment.... so sorry i havent been around much

Annie-c i will have a look for 80's stuff, but to be honest most of that era stuff that is coming through is total tat.

Bm..... hope everything goes well saturday..

Tonight i am going to put our first lot of eggs in the incubator

...... a mixture of ducks and chicken eggs, so cant wait for little cooks to arrive..( fingers crossed) hopefully ready for easter...

Must catch up today on what everyones doing!!! We have had a sickly household again!!! The 2 little boys have been throwing up and s***ing everywhere!!!!! They seem to have caught a bug from their grandparents who they stayed with at the weekend and were ill on the sunday. My boys started being violently sick on Monday night....the littlest is still ill, but i think the eldest is just about recovering...he is having his first bit of food as i type this. I have done my back in from jumping out of bed so much Monday night...it is a lot better now but i was in agony yesterday, which was particularly hard dealing with 2 sick boys!!

This is my final plea for you to bid on the red heart goodies in classifieds...only 12 hours left and it hasn't met my reserve yet. It really is a nice bundle of goodies: A lovely needlebook with a great embroided and chrocheted front, a lovely little cupcake pin cushion, a little hanging heart with a house on the front, a bookmark, a beautiful card, keyfob and a lovely fabric button badge.

I also have lots of items on my blog.
Remember all money is going to The British Heart Foundation.

As you may know on my blog had bad experience at parent evening for A...slept on it and still not happy so need to email the school!!
Viv - thank you for your comment. x I thank A's teachers regularly as I feel they do a fabulous job with a very difficult age group and sex!!!I am more upset as no other teacher has a problem and think he is (quote) lovely !!!!! (hmmm methinks thats pushing it some lol!!!)
Also if there is a problem with respect...silly man doesn't know much about teenage boys if he thinks he can demand respect after slagging him off....I'm disappointed too as I had preconcieved opinions of the man as his wife taught W in primary school and she is a really nice lady..he took his specs off to aggressively tell A he is full of himself (was quite funny I'll be able to laff soon!!!

)

Anyway - flipping kids - give me newborn babies any day of the week!!!

More work today and waiting in for parcels...

I've woken up with a stinker of a headache but DD wants to sew today so hoping it goes quickly so I can help her. No sign yet though

Other than that a quiet day today, hoping some parcels arrive too.

afternoon all, i can't believe it's 1pm already, i've only taken my other two cats for vaccinations today but i'm shattered. Stayed awake most of the night to litter train kitty. She's such a good girl, did both wee and poo in the tray, the only downside is she had a go at rascal cat and scratched his nose. I know it's only to be expected as the cats she's come across have fought with her but roo's so friendly, he only wants to sniff her lol. I've managed to snip some matted fur off but it's going to take days as it's very bad and is so thick that an electric shear/hair shaver won't do the job. Oh well at least she lets me snip at her fur (while she's asleep)

Hugs to all, i can't stay long as my net usage is down to 50mb and i can't top up tomorrow as the cat's vaccs cost me £60 today eeek

SB, you are such a sweetie, and so patient. Couldn't you get a job at the rescue centre or PDSA, you'd be a real asset xxx

I've been trying to make smaller bits for Saturday, so far I've finished 7 birdhouses on sticks, and 1 smelly boot, 2 more almost done. I need more chook doorstops as I've only one left, and would like to make some comb cases too. Oh, and I made a pair of shoe freshners too, someone asked if I could a while back, and they were so quick and easy I hope I can get a few more done.
DH has just cleaned all the downstairs windows, so now I have more light to work by

I'm having a little break before I get back to work

i had a lovely day with Mitty, she made me buy two new purses, i said "no mitty, i mustnt!" but she made me anyhow..... *titter*

I've had the same problem since I started working from home. Mon-Fri are tough for me. Sat and Sunday are easy to figure out because everything is so crowded! Haha.

What work do you do Eloise? Mine is just sewing for the craft fair we have on Saturday.
I managed to finishe the boots, and have 8 chook doorstops almost finished, just need to sew the stuffing gap and sew on the eyes.
I'd really like to get some other things done, but fear time will get the better of me
