My sister gave birth to her first child yesterday. He was 2 weeks early. She went into the hospital at 1am and at 7am her husband called my parents to say she was 3cm dilated. I expected her to be in labor for most of the day. He was born at 8.30am. How quick is that???? I'm so glad she had a quick delivery as she's still recovering from ME. The baby weighs 5 lb 15 oz and is nameless at the moment!! Anyway, my parents when to visit them yesterday and he emailed me a pic of the little man. Here he is, the cutest little thing!!

when ever i hear of a baby being born it puts a smile on my face....

edit.... can see now.. oooooo bless beautifull. i can smell that newborn baby smell, and i can remeber the softness of their skin..

Absolutely beautiful - makes me so broody (which isnt good when you have a hospitalised partner ;o)

I think he looks like a Joseph.......failing that, he also looks like a Joshua or maybe a Samuel (although i am biased towards Samuel i suppose LOL!!)
