why dont you try and come down on Friday night so we have more time on Sat to get stuff ready - just shove everything in the van and i can help with whatever needs finishing - that way hopefully you can get a bit of a rest as well

good idea, but Dai is playing Friday night, the band is playing saturday night too, but he said he couldnt do that one.

I dont want to push for him to not play on the Friday, as in fairness that is his hobby interest, and is allready giving up the gig on Saturday..

we are going to put things on the van during the week, so its more or less all done by thursday night,

I must admit.. i have mixed emotions about next week,..... i am excited, but i am getting very nervous too, I think its the actual size of the space that we have is getting to me, what if i get the lot of clothes on the rails wrong? and there are things in the van that someone would have bought if it was on the rail......

i think its time for a cuppa........found my saftey pins.....lol....

what a star Dai is for giving up the gig.

as for the space worries, we can mark out the space you have on the floor here and do a mock up on Sat, and decide what to put on the rails. we could take picturs of the other stuff that you are going to leave on the van and have a album available for people to look at? - you will never find the perfect solution to this one thou, so stop worrying about it. - most people dont have the endless amount of stock that you have, and have to worry about getting enough to fill the rails!!

i do think some signs with someting like 'more stock available on site so please ask if you are looking for something special' would be a good idea.

glad you found the pins!

Oh CTC don't fret hun....you will be fine, you'll have Mitts there to help organise, which I think you will find a Godsend as she will be your calming influence....and the album idea is great

Could you somehow put something across the front of the table that you could hang tops on hangers on iykwim...does that sound a crap idea ????????????????

Enjoy xxx

i am soooooooooooo glad Motley is helping.... otherwise i think i will be a heap on the floor, and if the organiser was being a boob, i would just mouth off....lol... will have to make sure i put my 'posh' head on so to speak,

ok... here are some pics..

here is the fabric i am going to use on the table, and as a back drop i have organzar and velevet type material

my shelf here is the before, with hubby goiving it a quick rub down for me

and here it is just finished this afternoon, with the lovely wallpaper motley sent me, its a bit rought round the edges...lol... so dont know whether to sand down some of it to make it look a bit 'worn'....was going to put the shoes on here, and maybe if i got time fill some jars with old buttons and put material on the top etc, a bit like a presurve jar, and sell them, as this will be a sort of shabby chic twist way of selling them, what do you think?
