My printer has suddenly decided it doesn't like the compatible cartridges (it's an Epson R300) and is refusing to work. The black cartridge is a genuine Epson, but the colours are not.
I've ordered some new cartridges which was extremely painful. £54 for a set compared to £7. Bliddy daylight robbery. Anyways, the printer will not work even if I try to print out plain black (which is a genuine cartridge). Any ideas how I can get round this until my cartridges are delivered? |

I dunno, mine stopped working after using compatibles and couldnt get it to work again. I didnt try it with proper Epson ones though, just kept using the printing troubleshooter thingy to flush the ink through but it didnt work. I hate buying printer cartridges, I just send things to my DH's work email and get him to print it off now!

We have an epsom and I always use compatible cartridges. I had a problem with one set (from a different shop to normal) in the end I binned them and went back to our local shop and everything was fine again.
