morning all, i've finally managed to top up my internet so i'm back for a few weeks at least!

Angel sorry to hear you've had a bad back, really glad you're feeling better now, i think a painful back is one of the most hardest injuries to deal with as it can be agony just to get to the loo (let alone get off the loo seat!)

Am I the only one who thinks this week has gone really fast? Since kitty went on monday the week seems to have super sonic'd by. I can't belive it's thursday already and i haven't done one bit of housework. Been flat hunting though for/with my uncle, his rotten landlord gave him an evicition notice for 2 months last week, i got in touch with my letting agent and luckily whilst i was talking to them a flat where i live became available so we were first to view. It will be handy having leggit living a few doors down the block

Oh well i suppose i'd better go and do some housework as i'm running out of clean knickers hahahahaha

BM i had to give kitty to our local cat rehoming charity, iris's cats in need, they picked her up after her spay operation (which they kindly paid for). Well i say that, when kitty had a quick check over the vet was worried about her blood test results from the week before, so i hope she made it through the op. I'm not going to phone though as i'll only get upset if she didn't, so i'm sticking to thinking that she's going to get a loving new home.

Have been to Birmingham airport to take DS1 to get his flight to Amsterdam/Taiwan/Sydney....

Came home and had 3hr kip, as we set off at 3-30am so didn't go to bed...... and don't I miss my sleep..... gawd help anyone who comes between me and my sleep

My intentions are to have a tidy round the kitchen and then think what to prepare for DHs and my tea as its just the 2 of us...sheesh weird lol

Have had the day from Hell .... Jess had meeting at work this morning with bitch of a manager who keeps insisting that she has to return after maternity leave and commit to night shifts .... coz when your partner gets up for work at 3am you can leave two small children home alone or pop them in a nursery the union rep went in with her and agrees that she is talking crap so she will be able to return for a few weeks and then have a meeting again. She's lodged a flexible working request so awaiting the outcome of that two. She has told them she is available to do her 20hrs per week between the hours of 9 am and 9 pm so she's given plenty of scope.

Then to top the day at lunchtime Jack had a teaspoon of scrambled egg for lunch and had the most horrendous allergic reaction ... within an hour the poor little mite was red from top to toe, his face and ears were swelling and he had big white welts on his cheeks so rushed him straight to surgery (only 2 mins drive away) ... they were having a training session and Jess had to go round shouting and banging on doors to get someone to come and see her the doctor took one look at him and gave him some anti allergy medication and said it was the worst one she'd ever seen .... no eggs or egg based anything for him till he is seven and then only after testing. It was really scary but bless him he still managed to raise a smile while me and his mum were in tears. They've all gone home now and he's sleeping in his bed and I hope it's all gone by the morning.

I'm knackered and think I'm coming down with the cold again so early night methinks.

I will email you again later xx This is the first time I have been on my proper pooter all day so just seen this...deb that is EXACTLY what happened to rubes the day I rushed him up the hossie..like nettle rash..his was eyes and mouth...butI was lucky..I got as far as a&e reception and the girl on the desk said ...has he eaten something ..I said yes and she was on phone getting a nurse to meet us (although he was a bit odd lol...)
His excema consultant says he could grow out of it anytime before 7 but we know he hasn't yet as I fed him mini chicken kievs without reading the label (we sometimes take our eye off the ball) and my step dad said he just watched his face balloon...we have piriton on the kitchen worktop
Really feel for your daughter its very scary whilst you are getting used to it ...I was so paranoid...after last weeks kiev incident I am very cautious...
huge hugs..will get those links and will compile a list of stuff I def no is a no no!!!
