Hello
I need to get some felt by the metre. Does anyone ever buy this? Abracadabra are selling it for around £7 a metre - I wondered if there was a cheaper place to buy. Thought it was worth asking. Or does that sound a good price?

I've never bought it by the meter, but I have seen it in John Lewis. Not sure how much it costs though, I would think its cheaper to buy at least a half meter than several sheets of A4 size felt.

I've bought it in abakhan by the metre but i found that it wasn't as thick as the A4 or 12"x!12" squares. I made a felt underwater table top play scene, i was meant to flog it but i've got to finish it yet

Thank you. I was a bit worried, Sparkle, that the Akabhan stuff might be too thin.

It's for a costume for my 9 year old. Bitten off more then I can chew, I think. But it means the felt has to be fairly robust, though not too thick and stiff, but not flimsy.
