I have read the blogging for bliss book Beki and to be honest is an interesting read, found some really nice blogs in there, I borrowed mine from the library, actually I ordered it through them, so saved some pennies, have seen it on amazon for £5.99 though which I thought not too bad.

I think and we all know tis a personal thing you shouldn't worry about what people think about your blog, easier said than done I only know to well. Don't blog to please others blog to please yourself. My blog is not going to be everyone's cup of tea, like some others to me aren't, but I gracefully accept that and it doesn't bother me. To be honest I do what I do and actually forget that there may be people reading it, I think this followers thing is a little tricky, I popped the widget on a while back and would now think it very rude to delete but I do think some of the most inspiring blogs for me, that I have read have 12 followers or the like. In hindsight I wouldn't have popped one on, but does seem the done thing.

Your blog to me, is lovely, like others have said a little of everything. Is there a particular reason why you feel the need for change. It mentions in the book about setting up new blogs I think on a practical level, it would be like starting again and URL's all new and the like. Not sure how it works to be honest. I think you should do what feels best you have had some great feedback on here, I don't write your blog so I can't truly understand how you feel about it, but tis lovely to read.

I go through the same feelings too, if that helps a little.

I got blogging for bliss for christmas and I found it a good read, I think we all blog for different reasons, but blogging for followers or for others is never going to work in the end!!

Lala, you're poor friend.......to critisise you and yet have such a lonely life herself. One thing my life isn't is lonely. It's loud and crazy and busy, I crave quiet sometimes but then I realise it's me that makes most of the noise . Unfortunately my children have taken after me with the loud gene too, the only quiet one is OH and he really struggles with us at times, bless him.
I think I may of started blogging of late for the wrong reasons, worrying about what to post to keep my followers happy which is crazy because I don't worry about what people think of me in real life so why should I care on my blog. Yesterday a blogged a list/piccies of what I love at the moment which was for Me, will be interesting to look back in a year or so and see if I still love the same things (I prob will as i've loved all the shown things for years). More blogging for Me I thinks rather than for everyone else and i'm going to take Gems advice and simplify my background.

But I know what you mean about the being bored thing. I did my first post in 9 days last night..didn't plan to be away but...had nowt to say!!!
I don't know what I want from my blog so as long as I enjoy it I am going to say what I like
tbh i am too private to say what I want to blog about....family etc...I really admire people who can get past that and include anecdotes and pics about their families....
And I don't even have the 0 birthday as an excuse what with me being dead dead youngerer

Lala, such a sad tale of your friend but it does just go to show that the grass might look greener, but it's not always the case.

Beki .... just blog for yourself and keep a diary for yourself - it's what I do and I'm sure it's pretty boring for anyone who reads it (MINE NOT YOURS!)... but as they say ....
