yes please lacey. I think it will be easier to do than trying to unpick the whole square as the oatmeal/cream on the outside of the squares has felted. I've bought some crochet hooks from Lidl last week to try to learn to crochet and I've just found a lady who gives quilting lessons so made me think of looking for a crochet class. No matter how much I try I just don't get it lol xx

that's fine - I'll try and do one to the right size this time, tonight. Got the practising out the way now.

Viki i'll also do a square tonight or tomorrow morning, depending on how my head rushes are. Angel cakes i'll happily make you a granny square lap blanket if that's any good for you?

I did a couple of test squares and found I need to use a 3.5 hook, I used a 4mm.
So I now have a couple of "coasters" for angel

It's a great idea to have a lovely blanket made by lots of peeps

ooo thats a pretty one, I love the colours used, some of the vintage crochet blankets can be a bit garish, but the pastels are lovely
