They look great .... does she recycle old hobby horses or start completely from scratch? May be something else to look out for at the CBs for a different project girls.

I knew you would like them!
Its actually a HE making them. He is very clever, he makes rag dolls too - some with ck fabric!!
Cut from his facebook - Made by David Oakwood (that will be me then) under the business name of Dapplegreen they are crafted from vintage and/or re-cycled fabrics. They are mounted on locally coppiced hedgerow hazel staffs that have been whittled and waxed...

He made the first about a year ago and now there are few in a local gallery and more recently Anna Ryder Richarsdson has seen a photo and now wants them in her gift shop at Manor Park which is local to us (She bought a zoo incase you didnt know!). So he is very busy with them and so he should be - i think they are great.

Now then - the idea of one mounted on a plague above the girls fireplace - what a fab idea. Im going to ask him what he thinks of that!! I was going to have the hobby horse mounted on hooks above the fireplace...too pretty to play with!
