Default baby quilt

I had a go at making one of those raggedy quilts for my grandson. I couldn't get the fabric I wanted so I just used some I had. I think it will look better when it has been washed and gets more frayed.....

Oh Ellieweb - it's beautiful!! I was waiting for you to finish it and post a picture . I really want to make one too!! You'll have to give some hints and tips. What does the back look like? What did you use in the middle? It really is stunning

I folllowed the stap by step guide, posted by Johttp://www.tangledthread.com/fun-and-easy-rag-quilting/

It is easy BUT... I used wadding in the middle which made the fabric pull out of shape slightly when the cross is stitched across the middle IYSWIM. Therefore, it was fiddly to join the squares up. I think the middle could be be something like thick felt insted.

Jo, the back was more fabric in a similar design, but of course there are no ruffles.

Thank you for all your lovely comments.......... I can quit get used to heving all this spare time LOL xx
