i think this is fab idea, it could save that 'should i mention I haven't received my swap' embarrasment -

Thanks for all your suggestions.

Cougar, I think a price limit is a great idea too. You guys wanna vote on £5, £10 or another amount?

Little gem - quite right - CK should be januarys theme me thinks!

Mollymop - good point re the newbies joining in but I can't remember being PM'd about a newbie not sending their gift out - it is generally people that have been on ages & then disappeared - I don't mean you guys that have got poorly or whatever, several folk have litterally just vanished off the site having signed up to a swap.
I think we could implement this idea if it ever becomes an issue with the newbies.

Joint opinions re the direct swap & keeping the name list as it is. As it's not causing any probs at the mo we'll leave it as it is for now.

Loving all the ideas for themes, keep them coming girlies!!

Please also use this thread if you have any other ideas on how we could improve the whole thing.

Mwah!

The new revised list is great Miss_P - I think I am guaranteed to be in on all those swaps up til May at least! I think the price limit could also include postage? But I'm not sure what the limit should be...

OOOOoooopppsss I don't do CK

I agree about the price limit. Not sure about including postage or not, it depends on the weight really.

I think a £5 upper limit is more than ample. TBH my swaps haven't even cost that much.

I agree - I use bits I already have fabric etc - so my handmade bits are really only costing me my blood -sweat - tears...I mean time

Yep. I'm with that too, especially as peoples' financial situations may become stretched further next year.

I agree - I think most of us have a little stash of bits and pieces we use for swaps and occasionally throw in the odd thrifted thing so £5 is definatly enough. None of my swaps have cost more than this so far
