Sign up at quidco.co.uk
Then clear your cookies etc before you go online and visit a site - say, Laura Ashley.
Then go via quidco to shop.
And you get a percentage back into your bank account. Varies how long it takes - my car insurance took around 9 months. But Laura Ashley are usually pretty quick.
So, for example, I spent £36 on a throw at LA in the sale, down already from £80, and got another just over £2 back. It's definitely worth it - over the year I've got around £150 back by shopping for goods/insurance via quidco.

i used to order loads from the book people..
love the site.... and i used to re-sell the books on amazon and ebay

but you need to get to the bargin books fast, as a lot of people buy them from the book people, and then will undercut your price on amazon.

as if you sell books on amazon.. you dont pay a listing fee, and you are only charged when you sell the book/item and before you confirm your listing you know exactly how much you are going to be cahrged, and they tell you how much they are going to pay you. so you can work out yuor profit, before buying the books from the book people .
