Oh Lala that is the same or very very similar to the crib my MIL bought from a CS for DD when she was born, but I can't remember if it was painted or not (is that awful) as she made the most beautiful pure white Brodraise Anglaise set with pillow, quilt, bottom fitted sheet, padded around the inside and she bought a gorgeous white parasol for when we put her outside awwwwww bought back so many memories of waking up and seeing it beside me for the first few months of being a mummy

Aw Laj so happy to have bought back lovely memories for you ...... I've still got my wooden swing crib in the loft ..... must be 30 years old at least because I bought it second hand.

Lala i had one similar for DD which I picked up from a car boot sale for £5.The crib bit was solid wicker though with no gaps.Came with a bag of bedding and beautiful bedding. Will look out photos.
I then sold it on after using it to a second hand baby shop for £40.Profit or what hehe.
Good luck though I'd be tempted to leave it un painted and go to town with the bedding

Oooh LaLa ... I have a crib like that in the loft .... but not a stand.

I did mine with Laura Ashley print but that was way back in the 80s!

I wouldn't paint it either... once the fabric is in place that will be enough (methinks).

xx

ahhh! Lala I love it
I am going to bring my wicker dollies crib out of the loft (no daughters to play with it ds1 played with it for a time...think it caused my divorce lol!!!) - just so I can look at it every day....
I am going to go with the Team Paint although I wouldn't if it were mine as I'd lash it up...but I'd look at it forever thinking wish I'd painted!!!

Mary - you good strong girl..I would have had to fetch the red painted crib home
