I guess it would depend on if you had a WM from Ikea or not, we didn't we just hooked the old white plastic pipework up to the Ikea grey pipework. we got a thing that just screwed into the pipe from B&Q most likely

DH here has plumbed in a few sinks in our various moves, and says it's fairly straightforward if you have the kits. The adaptors are universal - can pick them up from any DIY store.
