I had a rant about this in 2008, when I wrote to IKEA and blogged about it here:

http://lacehearts.blogspot.com/2008/...ton-growl.html

but they don't advertise it on their websites at all, so it's hit and miss if you manage to get hold of some. It's always being sold on the German ebay site, and they get good money for it as well. It's very frustrating.

It's lovely that your friend managed to get you some, Mary. Really pleased for you. x

Mary, don't even think of feeling bad or asking your friend to get more - it's only fabric! I'm really pleased for you but I would not dream of asking a complete stranger to send it over by the shedload!!!

In any case, it will help your goodies to sell at higher prices, being very rare over here... enjoy it!

(However, I do think it would be VERY SELFISH not to show piccies of the lovelies you make with it... )

Mary don't feel bad, I would feel awful asking a friend to do that so I just wouldn't ask them. But we still like to see what you got, we love pictures you know that

Mary, don't be silly, of course not. As I said before, I'm really pleased for you. It's in perfect hands. We all get good things from time to time, and it's lovely to hear about it. I'd feel uncomfortable expecting anyone I didn't know to get a load, like Annie said. Just wish I had a German friend.
